Smart Solutions participated in the annual forum “HR Days in Ukraine 2010”

July 29 in Kiev, President Hotel hosted the second annual forum HR Days in Ukraine 2010. The Forum brought together over 100 leading experts who work in various sectors of the economy: banks, FMCG, mobile telephony, IT, distribution of automobiles, pharmaceuticals, retail, insurance, hotels and restaurants.

Presentation on the second annual forum “HR Days in Ukraine 2010” of the experience of leading companies and discussions on key aspects of HR became another step in the development of Ukrainian field of human resources management.

In the first section of the forum participants discussed the strategic HRM Trends 2010, which are of greatest interest today in the professional community, in particular, the system of talent development organization. After this, HR professionals talked about what positive results can bring the company’s corporate culture, which can be used as a tool to increase the loyalty of employees.

In the past, most companies were faced with the need to optimize costs and the introduction of other changes to adapt to changing external conditions. HR professionals talked about the approaches to the management of changes, about what a positive effect may give the company moving the focus from cost to productivity, why the concept of human resources policy is part of the strategic management of the company.

The second section of the forum was devoted to the construction of effective system of motivation and reward of the staff. In particular, experts shared their experiences on how to build a system of staff motivation through a study on the involvement of staff, how to choose the optimal compensation package with a limited budget. The topic of management loyalty aroused great interest among the audience. In particular, one of the possibilities to motivate qualified personnel is to provide discounts to attend prestigious restaurants.

Special panel discussion was devoted to recruiting through social networks, development and training of staff using the new opportunities that have emerged in an era of social media. Also during the discussion the question was raised for employers and job seekers to professional social networks as a tool for recruiting and job search
